South Side Chicago Obama stimulus "campaign sign"

In 2000 Barack Obama was defeated when he attempted to unseat US Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Chicago). He tried to ignite a stimulus back then, a $100,000 garden in the Englewood neighborhood--which was in the Rush district but outsidethe Chosen One's state Senate district.

All that was built was a gazebo, and as of last summer it was still there--a sentinel to waste.

A little more than a mile away, Levois of It's My Mind found one of those Obama stimulus "campaign signs," the South Side's reminder of the $862 billion boondoggle.
