Hypocrite Biden shakes hands maskless ONE DAY after telling people to wear masks indoors

Don't forget--there have been more COVID-19 deaths this year than in 2020. When Donald Trump was president.

The Rainmakers - Battle of the Roses (Thanksgiving 2019)

Yeah, I know, Thanksgiving was two days ago but it is still Thanksgiving weekend.

Here are the Rainmakers from their most recent Thanksgiving show, two years ago, blasting out "Battle of the Roses."

Joe Concha blasts liberal media for downplaying inflation

Inflation is a huge problem and it will likely only get worse.

Democrat policies are largely to blame--which is why the mainstream media is minimizing it.

The Rainmakers - These Hills (Thanksgiving 2016)

The Rainmakers have a tradition of Thanksgiving Day shows in their home base in Kansas City. In fact they recorded an essential live album in 2011 on that day.

Here they are five years later performing "These Hills."

The Band - "Ophelia" (The Last Waltz), performed on Thanksgiving Day in 1976

Forty-five years ago today--Thanksgiving Day in 1976--the original edition of The Band performed its last concert, which was immortalized in the movie, directed by Martin Scorsese, The Last Waltz.

Levon Helm sang his heart out that night on numbers such as "Ophelia."

Karl Rove brings receipts in epic takedown of Biden plan on gas prices

Yes, it is Joe Biden's fault that you are paying a lot more for gasoline than when Donald Trump was president. Well, it's not all Sleepy Joe's fault. The tens-of-millions of voters who backed Biden are to blame too.

I recall another failed president, Jimmy Carter, lecturing Americans in his infamous "malaise" speech. Carter fortunately wasn't reelected.

Thieves storm stores in Democrat-run California cities as millions of dollars in merchandise stolen

Woke "prosecuting" attorneys are destroying America. Whether its smash-and-grab gangs in California, killers in Chicago, or a career criminal who had already run over one person in Wisconsin before killing five others in that same SUV, there is a crisis in Democrat-controlled areas.

As for the first two examples, criminals are brazen because they believe, with lots of justification, that even if they are caught they won't face punishment by woke prosecutors who blame society, not the criminals, for their actions.

Woke Milwaukee County prosecutor released alleged parade killer on $1,000 bail

The career criminal who allegedly drove into a Christmas parade with his SUV in Waukesha, Wisconsin killing five and injuring dozens of others, Darrel Brooks, Jr, was out on bail after posting a $1,000 bond two days earlier in a Milwaukee County domestic battery case after he allegedly ran over the mother of one of his children in that same vehicle.

I don't know how many times I have to say this but apparently few are listening. The most important duty of government is to protect its citizens.

Clearly not understanding that point are woke prosecutors such as Chesa Boudin in San Francisco, George Gacson in Los Angeles, Kim Foxx in Chicago, and John T. Chisholm in Milwaukee.

Piers Morgan, no conservative, unloaded on Chisholm's office to offer such a low bail to Brooks in the Daily Mail.
Now, as DA Chisholm faces furious questions about why this happened, the spotlight is being shone on his controversial campaign to send fewer Wisconsin residents to prison despite an unprecedented influx of crime in Milwaukee County.
Chisolm enlisted the help of the Vera Institute of Justice, a New York-based non-profit group that works with government and civil leaders 'to improve the services people rely on for safety and justice.'
Its website says it opposes cash bail believing it unfairly penalizes the poorest people in society and leads to disproportionate numbers of ethnic minority suspects in jails awaiting trial.
Chisholm has been praised by liberals for striving to reduce Milwaukee's prison population by slashing the number of people held in jail on cash bail.

Five people are dead because of Chisholm's malpractice. In a face-saving move--or is it an attempt at career-saving move?--Chisholm's office released a statement on Monday saying Brooks' bail was "inappropriately low."

Duh!

5 killed, including a 14-year-old boy, and at least 26 wounded over weekend in Chicago

While the temperatures are cooling the shootings continue in Chicago. Five people were shot to death over the past weekend in the city, including a 14-year-old Roseland boy. At least 26 others were wounded.

Chicago remains on pace to exceed 800 murders this year.

John Hiatt - Real Fine Love

It took a while for John Hiatt to find his niche--it was 13 after his first release before he had a modest hit album with eighth effort, 1987's Bring The Family.

He's popular, modestly so of course, here in the Chicago area.

Here is Hiatt a few years later as a guest of David Letterman, another Indianapolis native, crooning out "Real Fine Love."

Jesse Watters: Biden 'puppet masters' intervened in second Rittenhouse statement

Cognitively-challenged Joe Biden needs to keep quiet.

Alderman in bankrupt-but-in-name-only Chicago wants to buy Bears so they don't move to suburbs

Depending on who you talk to Chicago's public worker pension debt is either the worst in the nation--or close to it. There is no workable way out of it short of massive tax hikes that will force thousands of businesses and perhaps hundreds of thousands of Chicagoans to flee the city, or by defaulting, or a change in Illinois bankruptcy that will allow municipalities to declare bankruptcy.

On a side note--the state of Illinois' pension debt is equally dismal

Oh there is one other way out--before I get to my point--hyper-inflation. That may be coming.

This fall the Chicago Bears took steps to purchase the sprawling property of the Arlington Race Course in suburban Arlington Heights--which just closed down for good. The Monsters of the Midway play in the NFL's smallest stadium.

The move makes financial senses as they Bears are merely tenants in Soldier Field. They'll own any future stadium and they can turn the property into a "Bears-land," with restaurants, meeting facilities, and perhaps a hotel. They'll own the parking lots and the concessions.

Meanwhile a Chicago alderman, George Cardenas, wants the bankrupt-in-name-only city of Chicago to buy the Bears--and then sell stock to fans. Just like the Green Bay Packers. Only Chicago has a long record of corruption--over 35 members of the Chicago City Council that Cardenas sits on have served time in federal prison

And I already mentioned Chicago's malfeasance twice.

Cardenas' idea is among the dumbest I've encountered from a Chicago pol--and they maintain a very low standard.

Ben Shapiro: Rittenhouse coverage botched by lying media hacks

The great bulk of the mainstream media lied to you about Trump-Russia collusion.

That story has been debunked. And you are being lied to about the Kyle Rittenhouse case.

In the good old days the media only leaned left. Now they lie because they have their narratives to advance.

Chicago police warn of teenagers robbing high-end stores on Mag Mile

North Michigan Avenue, also known as the Magnificent Mile, is now known for departing retailers, such as the Gap, the Disney Store, and Macy's. The riots and looting of 2020 likely pushed them out.

Now the little guys are being attacked by thieves who rob with impunity because of the policies of Cook County's catch-and-release so-called prosecutor, Kim Foxx.

These retailers will just stay, right?

Biden refers to baseball legend Satchel Paige as 'great negro at the time' during speech

Satchel Paige was a legendary pitcher who was prevented from playing in Major League Baseball because of his race.

Joe Biden, in another meandering speech, spoke of Paige yesterday at Arlington National Cemetery, calling him "a great negro at the time."

Using the archaic term "negro" to refer to African-Americans has been considered offensive since the late 1960s. If Donald Trump said "negro" the propagandists at CNN and MSNBC would be apoplectic.

Are they even covering this story?

Lara Trump: Mainstream media will 'pay the price' for coverage of Rittenhouse trial

Lara Trump discusses the latest failure of the mainstream media, biased coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

The good news is that more people are tuning them out, both literally and mentally.

4th Infantry "Ivy" Division Memorial in Augusta, Georgia

On the median of Greene Street in Augusta, Georgia is the 4th Infantry Ivy Division Memorial. The nickname "Ivy" comes from the IV, as in "four" in Latin.

The Ivy Division fought in World War I and II as well as Vietnam. It was the first unit to report to nearby Camp Gordon, now Fort Gordon, after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Think of the veterans from the Ivy Division and all of the veterans of our military today.

Mike Pomeo: VP Harris embarrassed America on world stage with cringeworthy French accent

Not only Vice President Kamala Harris embarrass America by talking to scientists in Paris as if they were school children she did so with a phony French accent.

Joe Biden's choice of Harris as his running mate is clearly additional evidence of his cognitive decline.

High school history teacher: Parents are being gaslit with lies on CRT

Here's a great smackdown of the leftist myth that Critical Race Theory is not being taught in schools.

A brave high school teacher from Chicago's northern suburbs exposes the lie.

Most of the media are in on this disinformation campaign. You know, the same people the rammed the new thoroughly discredited Russian collusion hoax down the throats of gullible people.

Ten shot and at least 40 wounded over weekend in Chicago

Over this past weekend ten people were shot to death at least 40 others were wounded. For the year, according to Hey Jackass, 695 people have been slain in Chicago and 3316 wounded.

Over at CWB Chicago, last month they reported that there is a push to put more cops on the street--now they do that? Oh, it's part of a push to keep the 2021 murder total under 800.

Wow, do you mean the Chicago could have done more earlier in the year to combat shootings?

Paul and Linda McCartney - Monkberry Moon Delight

While Paul McCartney's first solo album, McCartney, was released just as Macca announced the breakup of the Beatles, he was the last of the Fabs to record an album after the split, that LP was Ram. Although it was credited to Paul and Linda McCartney.

George Harrison's effort, as well as John Lennon's and even Ringo Starr's post-breakup works received great reviews. Ram not so much. It's a strong effort that has aged well but it's burdened by some fluff.

Here's one of the better tracks, in my opinion, "Monkberry Moon Delight."

White House sets Jan. 4 deadline for employer COVID vaccine mandate

"So this is how democracy dies, with thunderous applause," is how Padmé Amidala Naberrie phrased it in "Revenge of the Sith."

Spectrum News Buffalo NY: "The cost of heating your home are surging by as much as 50 percent"

It will be a cold winter--inside and outside. All because of the anti-energy policies of Joe Biden.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm laughs when asked about Biden’s plans to lower gasoline prices

High gasoline prices are not a laughing matter and they hurt the people the leftists claim to represent, the poor, the most.

Gas prices began their climb almost immediately after Joe Biden was sworn into office--when he cancelled construction of the Keystone XL pipeline and blocked drilling at the Arctic National Wildlife refuge.

Yes, failed Michigan governor, and now Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm is not a serious person, she's a cardboard cutout representing the far-left Green New Deal wing of the Democratic Party.

"Russian collusion" dealt big blow with arrest

Donald Trump was right on many things--including his belief that the Russian collusion tale peddled by the media was a hoax.

From the Fox News:

Federal agents arrested the primary sub-source who contributed to the unverified anti-Trump dossier Thursday as part of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigations into the origins of the probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.
Igor Danchenko's arrest is linked to a federal grand jury indictment in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Durham is charging Danchenko, a Russian citizen residing in Virginia, with five counts of making false statements to the FBI. The charges stemmed from statements Danchenko made relating to the sources he used in providing information to an investigative firm in the United Kingdom.
Danchenko is scheduled to make his first court appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Theresa C. Buchanan Thursday afternoon.
Danchenko is believed to be the sub-source for former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, who compiled the dossier that served as the basis for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants against Trump campaign aide Carter Page. The dossier was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign through law firm Perkins Coie.

They believe they are never wrong.

MSNBC’s John Heilemann: Virginia election results “a bloodbath” for Democrats

Winning!

Steve Hilton: The Biden presidency is dead

Joe Biden has lost NBC's Chuck Todd. You know, the so-called journalist who is a former staffer for a Democratic senator and whose wife is a Dem Party operative.
