What comes up, must come down. Just as it with Barack Obama's approval numbers, so it is with this "campaign sign" promoting his policies.
I found this placard yesterday afternoon in Niles, Illinois on Lehigh Road, just south of Oakton. I don't believe vandals toppled it, it's been quite windy the last couple of days here. And it appears whoever placed the sign had no pride, it was secured to the ground, for a while, by a couple of sandbags.
Which reminds me of the expression I learned from a friend of mine who works in the public-sector, "Good enough for government work."
