(Video) Gohmert: DOJ has been used as a Democratic tool

Yesterday I wrote, "I remember when no American was above the law."

Here is more proof that things have changed for the worst. Watch as US Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) tells Brian Kilmeade on Fox and Friends that the Department of Justice--remember justice is supposed to be blind--has become a tool of the Democrats.

If you prefer a rigged DOJ, then vote your conscience next week and select Hillary Clinton.

Chiraq: 17 dead and at least 41 wounded over weekend

Author at Wrigley Field
The first World Series played on Chicago's North Side in 71 years didn't do much to cool passions in Chiraq, where as last weekend, when the Chicago Cubs clinched the pennant, things were a bit more quiet.

But this weekend 17 people were shot to death, including four teens, of of those four three were murdered in neighborhoods not known for carnage--Old Town and Archer Heights. There were at least 41 others wounded over the same time period.

Liar Harry Reid four years ago claimed Romney paid no income taxes

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)
Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) wrote a letter to James Comey that makes the claim that the FBI director may have broken a law when he announced to Congress that he was re-opening the investigation into Hillary Clinton and her home-brewed email server.

Reid says that there is a law against influencing an election.

What a crock of crap. Say a member of Congress is suspected of committing a federal crime--and the cad is up for election in two weeks. What's the FBI supposed to do? Wait for the day after Election Day?

This is the same Harry Reid in 2012 who twice claimed that an anonymous source told him that Republican nominee for that year had not paid federal income taxes for a decade. Politifact rated those statements as "Pants on Fire" lies.

Last year Reid, who is the type of creature you find under a rock, refused to apologize for his lies, stating "I have no repentance."

#DickiLeaks: Over 650K Clinton emails to be reviewed by FBI; Clinton Foundation under investigation

Hillary Clinton's bad week has bled into this week.

From Breitbart:
WSJ reports that FBI agents will examine over half a million emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop in their reopened investigation into Hillary Clinton's handling of classified information while Secretary of State.
From the Wall Street Journal:

Federal agents are preparing to scour roughly 650,000 emails contained on the laptop of former Rep. Anthony Weiner to see how many relate to a prior probe of Hillary Clinton's email use, as metadata on the device suggests there may be thousands sent to or from the private server that the Democratic nominee used while she was secretary of state, according to people familiar with the matter.

The review will take weeks at a minimum to determine whether those messages are work-related emails between Huma Abedin, a close Clinton aide and the estranged wife of Mr. Weiner, and State Department officials; how many are duplicates of emails already reviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and whether they include either classified information or important new evidence in the Clinton email probe, which FBI officials call "Midyear."
There is more bad news for Clinton, the Wall Street Journal is also reporting that the FBI is investigation the Clinton Foundation slush fund.

I remember when no American was above the law

Blogger during the Nixon
administration
It's my firm belief that if Hillary Clinton was not running for president she'd be under indictment for at the very least the reckless mishandling of classified documents that were stored on the home-brewed email servers she utilized while serving as Barack Obama's secretary of state. She may have also directed the deletion of emails--after they were subpoenaed by Congress.

But because Clinton is the Democratic nominee for president and the incumbent in the White House, Barack Obama, is an ends-always-justifies-the-means leftist who is desperate to preserve his liberal legacy, the Department of Justice, led by attorney general Loretta Lynch, hampered the FBI investigation of Clinton and her email server. For instance, no grand jury was impaneled, which makes issuing subpoenas very difficult.

But James Comey, the FBI director, reopened the investigation after emails pertinent to that investigation were found on laptop shared by longtime Clintonista Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony "Carlos Danger" Weiner.

So justice may still be served.

But when I was a child I learned, perhaps incorrectly, that no person, even a president, was above the law. After the "smoking gun" Watergate tape was released, it was clear that Richard M. Nixon obstructed justice. Impeachment and removal from office became a certainty--so Nixon resigned. Immediately after his swearing in, Gerald R. Ford, his successor, said, "My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over." It was revived a bit after Ford pardoned Nixon a month later, but while "Tricky Dicky" was never prosecuted, his reputation was destroyed.

Unlike now, most national governments were dictatorships in 1974, so response from outside the United States was dominated by befuddlement. The Soviets never understood it. To them it was as if Nixon was toppled because he forgot to pay a parking ticket. I remember a Middle Eastern politician exclaiming, "He's gone? And there were no tanks outside of the White House?"

Yes, Nixon was gone--and there were no tanks. That's because America was a great nation in 1974--no man and no woman was above the law. My teachers told me so as did my parents.

I'm not so sure that is the case in 2016.

This I do know--it's time to Make America Great Again.

Ex-FBI official: Clintons are a "crime family," Hillary a "pathological liar"

In The Godfather the Corleones spoke of "the family business."

The Clinton Foundation slush fund is their family business.

From The Hill:
A former FBI official said Sunday that Bill and Hillary Clinton are part of a "crime family" and argued top officials hindered the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was secretary of State.

During a radio interview with John Catsimatidis, former assistant FBI director James Kallstrom heaped praise on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump before taking aim at the Clintons.

"The Clintons, that's a crime family, basically," Kallstrom said. "It's like organized crime. I mean the Clinton Foundation is a cesspool."

Kallstrom, best known for leading the investigation into the explosion of TWA flight 800 in the late '90s, said that Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, was a "pathological liar."

Hillary Clinton wants FBI Director James Comey to release the pertinent emails to the investigation of Hillary Clinton and her private email server. So does her campaign manager, Robby Mook.

Of course if Hillary Clinton released all of her emails--rather than wiping them from that home-brewed server, we wouldn't be having this conversation with Mook, who refused to tell Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace if Clinton has asked Abedin, also known as Mrs. Carlos Danger, about them.

Weiner's boner disrupts prez race

Navin Field, Detroit, site of Cubs'
last World Series win
First, about the headline. "Boner" is a vintage term meaning colossal mistake. If you are thinking of something else then you have a dirty mind.

Oh, "boner" came to mind because the last time the Chicago Cubs won a World Series title was in 1908. The defending champs, however, only got into the the Fall Classic because of a base running error made by New York Giants rookie Fred Merkle. Because of Merkle's "boner," which is how the press referred to it 108 years ago, a likely Giants victory ended in a tie because the game was called on account of darkness. Lighting at big league ball parks was three decades in the future. The Cubs won the make-up game and against the Giants found themselves back in the World Series, where again they bested Ty Cobb and the Detroit Tigers. The deciding game was at Michigan and Trumbull in Detroit, pictured on the right, which I visited last year.

Why am I bringing this up? Because the Cubs are back in the Series again, for the first time since 1945.

Anyway, Anthony Weiner, sexting fiend, is under FBI investigation. He's the estranged husband of longtime Hillary Clinton aide and confidante Huma Abedin. Because Weiner was allegedly involved in lurid text messaging conversations with an underage female, the feds have in their possession devices that Mr. and Mrs. Weiner shared. And on of those devices some previously undiscovered emails that pertain to the investigation of Hillary Clinton's email server came to light. So the FBI re-opened the case against Clinton.

Relying on unsecured devices let alone bypassing a secure government server and using a home-brewed server to conduct State Department business--which of course involves using classified information--certainly qualifies as a boner. As for Merkle, he was 19 at the time of his boner--his mistake can be passed off as a youthful miscue. Merkle enjoyed a long baseball career, appearing in five World Series matchups, although never on a winner.

Clinton, Abedin, and Weiner are old enough to know how to act responsibly.

Three ObamaCare Tweets that will probably be deleted soon

This week news broke that ObamaCare premiums will be skyrocketing next year. Barack Obama's promise that the average family would save $2,500 on their health premiums was long ago filed away as a broken promise.

Here are three old Tweets about ObamaCare that I expect will be deleted soon.

The first one, from 2009, is from the Democratic Party.

Crook County IL: Indicted phony judge on ballot to be real judge vows to stay off bench until case resolved

The rot of one-party rule in Crook County, Illinois--make that Cook County--is responsible for outrages such as a law clerk putting a robe on and ruling on cases while an actual judge looks on.

It gets worse. The clerk, Rhonda Crawford, is a Democratic candidate to be a real judge. Even though she wasn't recommended by any bar association in this spring's Democratic primary, Crawford won anyway, defeating a candidate, a sitting judge, who was recommended by those same legal groups. Why? Perhaps voters liked her hair better. Crawford, who was indicted last week for her impersonation stunt, will be on the ballot in a Chicago South Side and south suburban judicial subcircuit, where she faces a write-in challenger.

Cook County's political scene, which is dominated by Chicago, reminds me of an island overrun by hideous inbred beasts. The herd needs to be culled. But Cook County voters--not the Blogger Laureate of Illinois--for the most part just click "X" on their voting touch screens for one reason. They see "Democrat" next to a candidate's name.

Which means barring a miracle Crawford will win. Today in a filing she promised not to serve on the bench until her case is resolved. Even if it is resolved in her favor, Crawford may not have a licence to practice law. Even in Crook County judges need one of those.

Rigged: FBI corrupted by Obama by failing to properly investigate Clinton

Hillary M. Nixon
In the early days of the Watergate scandal Richard M. Nixon ordered the FBI to give up its investigation of the break-in at Democratic headquarters. That's obstruction of justice.

Forty-four years later co-opted FBI, which has been politicized by Barack Obama, is sweeping the Hillary Clinton scandals under the rug.

From Fox News' Andrew Napolitano, a retired New Jersey Supreme Court judge:
The FBI began investigating the Clinton email scandal in the spring of 2015, when The New York Times revealed Clinton’s use of a private email address for her official governmental work and the fact that she did not preserve the emails on State Department servers, contrary to federal law. After an initial collection of evidence and a round of interviews, agents and senior managers gathered in the summer of 2015 to discuss how to proceed. It was obvious to all that a prima-facie case could be made for espionage, theft of government property and obstruction of justice charges. The consensus was to proceed with a formal criminal investigation.

Six months later, the senior FBI agent in charge of that investigation resigned from the case and retired from the FBI because he felt the case was going “sideways”; that’s law enforcement jargon for “nowhere by design.” John Giacalone had been the chief of the New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., field offices of the FBI and, at the time of his "sideways" comment, was the chief of the FBI National Security Branch.

The reason for the "sideways" comment must have been Giacalone’s realization that DOJ and FBI senior management had decided that the investigation would not work in tandem with a federal grand jury. That is nearly fatal to any government criminal case. In criminal cases, the FBI and the DOJ cannot issue subpoenas for testimony or for tangible things; only grand juries can.

Giacalone knew that without a grand jury, the FBI would be toothless, as it would have no subpoena power. He also knew that without a grand jury, the FBI would have a hard time persuading any federal judge to issue search warrants. A judge would perceive the need for search warrants to be not acute in such a case because to a judge, the absence of a grand jury can only mean a case is “sideways” and not a serious investigation.

(Audio) Michael Moore praises Trump supporters, predicts Trump victory

Leftist bombthrower Michael Moore is one of those people who if he says it's hot and sunny outside, I'll look out my window and expect to see a blizzard.

But in his latest movie, Trumpland, Moore praises Donald Trump's supporter--and he predicts a victory over Hillary Clinton in November.

"I know a lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump and they don't necessarily agree with him," the filmmaker explains. "They're not racist or rednecks, they're actually pretty decent people."

That's right, "pretty decent people." Like me.

Like you.

Contrast that to what Clinton said about Trump's backers, calling half of them "a basket of deplorables."

Moore also said, "Yes, on November 8, you Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Blow, all the Blows get to go and blow up the whole goddamn system because it's your right. Trump's election is going to be the biggest 'fuck you' ever recorded in human history and it will feel good."

Good stuff. But no, Moore hasn't come around and acquired common sense. He's still voting for Hillary.

Clinton Foundation slush fund: $50 million for Bill according to WikiLeaks

The Clinton Foundation is an influence peddling slush fund that on occasion, sends some cash to charitable projects.

From the Los Angeles Times:
A close aide to Bill Clinton said he arranged for $50 million in payments for the former president, part of a complicated mingling of lucrative business deals and charity work of the Clinton Foundation mapped out in a memo released by WikiLeaks on Wednesday.

The report was written by Doug Band, who has transitioned from his job as a Clinton aide to a partner in Teneo Consulting, a firm whose client roster now includes some of the biggest companies in the world. Along the way, Band wrote, he also pushed his clients and contacts to donate millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, and to help win business deals for Bill Clinton.

Band wrote the memo in November 2011 to John Podesta, now chairman of the Hillary Clinton campaign, and sent copies to other key Clinton aides, apparently to explain and justify his work in the face of criticism from others in the Clinton orbit — notably Chelsea Clinton.

WikiLeaks has been releasing thousands of hacked emails from Podesta’s account in recent weeks, revealing the rivalries and controversies roiling inside the Clinton family network as Hillary Clinton prepared to run for president.

Montana columnist schools media on biased reporting

It takes someone, a real journalist, from way outside of the beltway to spot media bias and blow the whistle.

Oh, I have no regrets over my blog post titled, "The media is the enemy of the American people."

None.

From Frank Miele of the Daily Inter Lake:
I'll provide a few examples to demonstrate how the reporter inserted personal opinions into a news story, and how easy it was for me as editor to correct them.

The lead of the story was as follows:

"A beleaguered Donald Trump sought to undermine the legitimacy of the U.S. presidential election on Saturday, pressing unsubstantiated claims the contest is rigged against him, vowing anew to jail Hillary Clinton if he's elected and throwing in a baseless insinuation his rival was on drugs in the last debate."

There are three major examples of bias in this one sentence, which would have been fine if the reporter was supposed to be writing an opinion piece, not a news article. I'm sure I don't have to explain this to my readers, but apparently the trained journalist who wrote the story (and her editors) were completely oblivious to the difference between a fact and an opinion.
Miele points out that it would have been better for the "reporter," who he didn't name, but I will--Jill Colvin of AP--should have said that Trump in fact "questioned" the electoral process. As for the "unsubstantiated" claims, according to whom? The Democratic National Committee? And who says the Trump claim that Clinton was on drugs--that may have been a joke--was baseless? The Clinton campaign?

On Sunday Derek Hunter of Townhall wrote, "The media needs to be destroyed." That may be a bit harsh, but most of the media needs to be replaced. But not Frank Miele.

Obama lied about when he found out about Hillary's private email server

Barack Obama also lied when he said, "If you like your health care plan you can keep it" and that the average family would save $2,500 after the passage of ObamaCare.

From CBS News:
President Obama said he heard about Hillary Clinton's private email server through news reports in March 2015 -- but an email from a Clinton aide around that suggests the president was emailing Clinton on her private address.

In the email, posted by WikiLeaks in the latest batch of emails hacked from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta's account, Clinton communications staffer Josh Schwerin emailed a group of top aides noting that Mr. Obama
"said he found out HRC was using her personal email when he saw it in the news."

"We need to clean this up," Clinton aide Cheryl Mills replied. "He has emails from her - they do not say state.gov."

The exchange was in reference to an interview Mr. Obama did with CBS News’ Bill Plante, in which the president said he learned about the private email server "the same time everybody else learned it -- through news reports."

Democrats are the dirty tricks party

Hillary M. Nixon
When I was a kid it was the Republicans who were the party of dirty tricks, and the New York Slimes and the Washington Compost scourged them for it.

These colluders are pretty quiet now.

From Cal Thomas in Fox News:
Students of the Watergate era (or those old enough to have lived through it) will recall the “dirty tricks” played by Richard Nixon's henchmen, most notably Donald Segretti. Segretti, who was hired by Nixon’s deputy assistant, Dwight Chapin, was tasked with smearing Democrats, including senator and 1972 presidential candidate, Edmund Muskie of Maine. Among several “tricks,” Segretti composed a fake letter on Muskie’s letterhead falsely alleging that Sen. Henry “Scoop” Jackson (D-WA) had fathered a child with a 17-year-old girl.

In 1974, Segretti pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of distributing illegal, even forged, campaign literature and served four months of a six-month prison sentence.

I mention this sordid history because some Democrats are playing similar "dirty tricks" on Donald Trump.

Videographer James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas and National Review columnist Stanley Kurtz have exposed Democratic dirty tricks in this presidential campaign.

ObamaCare heading towards collapse

It was always the Democrats' plan for ObamaCare to collapse once Barack Obama was out of office.

From AP:
Premiums will go up sharply next year under President Barack Obama's health care law, and many consumers will be down to just one insurer, the administration confirmed Monday. That's sure to stoke another "Obamacare" controversy days before a presidential election.

Before taxpayer-provided subsidies, premiums for a midlevel benchmark plan will increase an average of 25 percent across the 39 states served by the federally run online market, according to a report from the Department of Health and Human Services. Some states will see much bigger jumps, others less.

Moreover, about 1 in 5 consumers will only have plans from a single insurer to pick from, after major national carriers such as UnitedHealth Group, Humana and Aetna scaled back their roles.

"Consumers will be faced this year with not only big premium increases but also with a declining number of insurers participating, and that will lead to a tumultuous open enrollment period," said Larry Levitt, who tracks the health care law for the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation.
Obama famously lied when he said "If you like your health care plan you can keep it." He also pledged that the average family would save $2,500 annually once ObamaCare became law.

If you want more lies such as the ones about ObamaCare, then vote for Hillary Clinton for president next month.

Donald Trump pledges to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

From the American Thinker: The incestuous left and those who provide cover for them

The colluding mainstream media has finally been exposed.

From the American Thinker:
As the election nears, the media hype, designed to affect the results, demoralize and demonize Trump and his supporters and confirm the bias of its elite coastal consumers, continues. Saturday’s opinion-posing-as-news lead in the Washington Post says the end is near for Trump -- the polls have him down everywhere and he was booed for crass attacks at the Al Smith dinner in New York. What do you expect from media whose reporters are literally in bed with the administration?

Not only are reporters feeding debate questions to the Clinton campaign, we have a video of one of them, Andrea Mitchell, seemingly being fed what to ask by Hillary’s traveling press secretary.

Extensive evidence from Wikileaks, FOIA responses, and “human sources” of the incestuous and improper coordination between the media and the Democrats have been detailed by Sharyl Attkisson. She concludes:
It can be argued that some individual accounts can be rationalized and are not serious breaches of ethics. But taken as a whole, it’s easy to see how we as journalists have done a poor job protecting ourselves from being co-opted by organized interests, often ones that are paid and politically-motivated. Whether we realize it or not, they’ve figured out how to exploit the media and use us to publish their propaganda. It implies a broad and growing trend that has seriously undermined the credibility of the news industry.

Opinion reporters and those who work for obviously ideological news groups are entitled to publish party propaganda. It’s one matter to provide viewpoint journalism. But it’s quite another for us to act as a tool of any interest, publishing narratives or talking points upon suggestion or demand, without disclosing we’ve done just that.
Attkission, formerly of CBS News, is one of the last honest mainstream journalists working. I said formerly, by the way.

Chiraq: 6 dead and at least 32 wounded over weekend

Author at Wrigley Field
Well, there is some rare good news on violence in Chicago. There were six people shot to death over the weekend and at least 32 others were wounded. One of murder of course is too many but the carnage was a bit less than usual. Perhaps the Chicago Cubs winning their first National League pennant since 1945 has something to do with that.

Three of the fatal shootings occurred on the West Side, two of those in North Lawndale, one of Chiraq's most violent neighborhoods.

Leftist Tribune columnist uses slavery references to defend against Trump's criticism of Chicago

Abandoned home, Chicago's
South Side
Chicago Tribune left-wing columnist Dahleen Glanton feels it's okay to reach back to the times of slavery in her attempt to rebut Donald Trump's calling attention to the city's out-of-control murder rampage.
Trump's repeated calls for strict law and order hark back to the days of slavery, when blacks were believed to be innately sinister and irrational and had to be whipped into confomity.

Throughout his campaign, Trump has used Chicago to illustrate how crime can permeate neighborhoods that are not reined in. The only way to bring back order, in his opinion, is to appoint police officers as overseers in communities that can't manage themselves.

On Southern plantations, armed overseers had the power to do whatever was necessary to bring wayward slaves into line. Under Trump's plan, police officers likewise would have unconstitutional powers like stop and frisk, meaning they could pull people over at a whim, throw them against the hood of a car and search them without cause.
Let me remind Glanton that not only were the Democrats the party of slavery, they were also the party of Jim Crow and segregation. Hillary Clinton once hosted a birthday party for Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV), a onetime Ku Klux Klan leader.

Rampant violent crime isn't Chicago's only problem. Once every 18 months or so a Chicago alderman goes to prison. Ald. Willie Cochran (20th) is currently under federal investigation. Because of unfulfilled pension obligations, bribes really, to public-sector unions, Chicago bonds, Chicago Park District bonds, and Chicago Public School bonds are rated as junk. Last year's property tax hike, the largest in city history, hasn't helped.

Chicago's population is at the lowest level it has been in nearly a century. The city hasn't had a Republican mayor since 1931, it has no GOP members on its City Council.

It's all Trump's fault, right?

Black, white, and Hispanic Chicagoans clearly, to use Glanton's words, are unable to manage themselves.

NY Times op-ed on "unconstitutional" Detroit schools omits corruption, lack of school choice

Gymnasium in an abandoned
Detroit school
In a New York Times op-ed on what a University of Chicago law professor, Geoffrey R. Stone, claims may be unconstitutional public schools in Detroit. Conveniently left out of his unbalanced analysis is any mention of incompetent management and rampant corruption in Michigan's largest city that reaches down individual schools. For instance over a dozen DPS principals were recently caught accepting kickbacks from a vendor, these bribes totaled well-over two million dollars that was supposed to be for-the-kids.

And what about the bribes we don't know about? This kickback scheme likely wasn't an isolated occurrence.

There is no mention of school choice in Stone's treatise; the best way out of a failed school system is the opportunity for students to leave it. Nor is personal responsibility--Detroit parents, I'm looking at you--discussed by Stone.

#CrookedHillary: $12 million Morocco mess

I believe what is described below is a bribe.

Will Americans elect the most corrupt presidential candidate ever?

From the New York Post:
Hillary Clinton solicited a $12 million donation from a government that her State Department considered corrupt, then realized the "mess" it would cause to her presidential run, a newly leaked email reveals.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco agreed to give the money to the Clinton Foundation, provided that it hold a convention in his country in May 2015 with Clinton as the keynote speaker.

But Clinton realized that the conference, slated for a month after she announced her run for president, would hurt her candidacy.

"No matter what happens, she will be in Morocco hosting CGI [Clinton Global Initiative] on May 5-7, 2015. Her presence was a condition for the Moroccans to proceed so there is no going back on this," top Clinton aide Huma Abedin wrote to campaign manager Robby Mook in a November 2014 email revealed by WikiLeaks.
The Clinton Global Initiative is part of the Clinton Foundation slush fund.

Justifiably regarded as one of our worst presidents because of his scandal-plagued administration, Warren G. Harding was not a complete failure. It was 95 years ago today that he became the first sitting president to denounce lynching of blacks in a speech delivered in Alabama.

Our 29th president was, wait for it, a Republican. Just like Abraham Lincoln.

An anti-lynching law, which Harding supported, was filibustered by southern Democrats and failed to pass during his time in office.

Crook County IL: Law clerk indicted for impersonating judge, on ballot in November

In a democracy the voters get the government they deserve.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:
The law clerk accused of impersonating a judge has been indicted by a Cook County grand jury, her attorney said Thursday.

Rhonda Crawford was indicted Wednesday, said Victor Henderson, who took the unusual step of announcing the allegations against his client in advance of charges being announced by the Cook County state's attorney's office.

Crawford, who is on the November ballot for the first judicial subcircuit vacancy, said last month that she regretted "the day it happened" — referring to the impersonation incident — but still defended herself, saying she never proclaimed herself a judge.

Henderson blamed the decision to charge his client on Democratic politics and vowed Crawford "will continue to fight the good fight and win the election."
A real judge looked on as Crawford dispositioned three cases.

Crawford faces a write-in candidate in her general election race. Dopey Chicago voters will of course choose the Democrat on the ballot--Crawford. Her win in the spring Democratic Primary was a bit of a surprise, as she lost to a sitting judge. Three legal groups deemed Crawford "not recommended" because she didn't participate in their evaluation process.

Payback for dishonesty: We need to "Kaepernick" the mainstream media

The media isn't just biased, it's dishonest and actively choosing sides in this year's presidential election. Unless you've been living in a cave without internet access, you of course know that most of the mainstream media is essentially the communications wing of the Democratic Party. The worst offenders are the Washington Post and the New York Times. These publications aren't for the most part aren't represented by journalists, they're overrun with left-wing colluding propagandists. Although their writers and the editors have believed their own lies for so long they've deluded themselves into believing they are, to use Fox News' slogan, fair and balanced.

No way.

Last week the Post's Drew Harwell wrote about the double-digit decline in NFL televison ratings, which most observant and open-minded people attribute to some extent to the refusing-to-stand-for-the-National Anthem protests by San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and some of his fellow wealthy NFL players. But Harwell, a hardened leftist based on his Twitter feed, didn't even mention those protests in his analysis, which have angered millions. He's being dishonest or he is completely clueless.

But the justified furor over Kaerpernick gives me an idea.

This is how I believe patriots should confront the dishonest media. Don't visit their websites, don't buy their papers, don't watch their programs. Kaepernick them. Starve them.

You have righteous power. Use it.

If you are a news junkie, there are plenty of other information sources available to you. This blog is one of them. Fox News, Breitbart, and the Daily Caller are some others.

As for the Hillary Clinton supporters reading this post, you may laugh, shrug your shoulders, or shout at me over my fury. After all, doesn't the end justify the means? But power in the hands of an irresponsible elite is a dangerous and unpredictable thing. This spring the Democrats were squabbling over the direction of their party. Four years from now, during the next presidential campaign, that struggle, which is in hibernation now, might explode into a political civil war.

Then some of you Democrats may be angry about the media shaping rather than reporting the news.

And calling for a boycott of the mainstream media.

Pot, kettle, black: Biased Politico reports on owner of biased Washington Post

Read it if you must, but Politico, whose White House correspondent, Glenn Thrush, was caught sending part of an article to the chairman of the Hillary Clinton campaign to edit, today writes about Jeff Bezos, who founded Amazon and owns the Washington Post, complaining about Donald Trump's treatment of--my words--biased Post reporters.

(Video) Megyn Kelley smashes DNC chair over inciting violence at Trump rallies

Acting Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile was knocked silly by Fox News' Megyn Kelly--no fan of Donald Trump, by the way--over DNC-funded groups acting on behalf of the party to disrupt Trump rallies.

When Kelly pressured a dodging Brazile over the Wikileaks revelations that the she knew beforehand a spring Democratic debate question which she forwared to the Clinton campaign. She moaned in reply "I will not sit here and be persecuted because your information is totally false."

Brazile is a liar. The question, almost word for word, was asked by TV One's Roland Martin.

Who will take that 3pm call? Hillary says "no more naps" until Election Day

Donald Trump is right in questioning whether Hillary Clinton has the stamina to be president. Today, in one of her quickie press conferences, she vowed to take "no more naps" until Election Day.

Who is going to take that 3pm crisis call if Hillary Clinton becomes president?

If Trump said "no more naps," the dishonest mainstream media would be hammering him day-and-night. But because it's Hillary, there's nothing to see here folks, move along...

(Video) Hillary dodges pay-to-play question on Clinton Foundation slush fund

Finally in the third debate, which unlike the first two was not moderated by someone from the colluding-with-the-Democrats mainstream media, a question was posed about the Clinton Foundation, the so-called charity run by the Clintons which is nothing more than a slush fund and a jobs program for Clintonistas between government gigs.

Watch as Hillary dodges the pay-to-play accusation by Fox News' Chris Wallace and then lies when she says that 90 percent of the money raised goes to charity.

Six percent is the real figure.

Trump responds by calling on Clinton to return the cash from nations that bought access to her that are hostile to gays.

From Gateway Pundit: Reporters at Vegas debate caught cheering for Hillary

After Election Day the battle continues. Patriots need to keep hammering the dishonest mainstream media. At the very least it needs to be weakened. Toppling it would be ideal.

Chicago alderman under investigation by FBI

"We're Getting Things Done,
Willie B. Cochran"
This week former Chicago alderman Sandi Jackson (7th) was released from prison, possibly upsetting the balance of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Will another member of the Chicago City Council, the worse legislative body in America, take her place as a guest of the BOP?

Chicago has 50 alderman. All of them are Democrats.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:
Ald. Willie Cochran (20th) is under federal investigation in connection with his use of political campaign funds, sources told the Sun-Times.

The Sun-Times reported Oct. 8 that records show Cochran paid himself more than $115,000 from his campaign fund over a three-year span.

Most of those payments were reported by Cochran belatedly — months after he was required to do so by state disclosure laws — in a series of amended campaign disclosure reports.

Illinois law does not prohibit politicians from taking money from their campaign funds for personal use if the payments are "for services actually rendered."
Did Cochran tell the IRS about these payments? Did he pay taxes on them?
