Rosemont's Obama stimulus "campaign sign," 10,000th edition

On Friday President Obama hailed the 10,000th stimulus-funded road project. But the Democrats promised that their $862 billion boondoggle would keep the unemployment rate below eight percent--for the last few months it has been hovering near 10 percent.

Obama's failed stimulus comes with an advertising campaign: these signs. I think I've seen 10,000 of them in Illinois. What they are in essence saying is "Brought to you by the Democratic Party." Each sign costs $300.

My latest placard can be found in Rosemont, Illinois on Devon Avenue, near a casino construction site. That's appropriate, because Obama is recklessly gambling with taxpayer money.

Thanks to ThirdWaveDave to alerting me to the 10,000 millstone.
