Beaver Creek, Colorado's "two-fer" Obama stimulus campaign signs

Blogging from Moab, Utah.

Later today I'll be traversing Colorado on Interstate 70 and driving past these two Obama stimulus "campaign signs" again in Beaver Creek--the heart of the Centennial State's ski country.

Of the many signs I've encountered across our nation, this is the first "two-fer" I've come across. You're not seeing double--there are two of them, one on an I-70 exit ramp, the other is on a frontage road.

Like many of the Michigan signs promoting the president's failed economic stimulus I photographed last year, these two have the name of the state's Democratic governor, in this case Bill Ritter, Jr.

So far, taxpayers have shelled out $20 million for these signs. But these are our only stimulus twins.

Coloradans must be very proud.
