Medical care in Great Britain, which has had government-run health care for over sixty years, is getting worse. For the first time its National Health Service has received over 100,000 complaints. There are 13 percent more complaints this year than in 2009. Much of the decline and fall is centered around inadequate care for seniors.
The Daily Mail writes, "The concept of responsibility and dignity for the elderly seems to be disappearing from our hospital wards."
Later in the same article it declares, "After all, the way we treat our elderly and sick defines us as a civilized people."
