British ObamaCare update: Gov't-run health care not really redistributional

Excellent healthcare is by definition redistributional. Britain, you chose well." Donald Berwick, President Obama's nominee to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, 2008.

Well it turns out that Great Britain's government-run health care agency, the National Health Service, isn't even very good at redistributing health care. London's Daily Mail is calling the departed Labour government's $30 billion USD plan to eliminate the rich-poor health gap in the UK "an abject failure."

Worse, the gap between the haves and have-nots actually widened despite the enormous expenditure.

Spending lots of money with adverse results? Sounds like Obama's $862 billion stimulus.
