British ObamaCare update: Newspaper readers raise £100,000 to fund NHS elderly helpline

London's Daily Mail has been reporting on the inhumane "health care" received by elderly patients in Great Britain.

The UK has had government-run health care the National Health Service, for over 60 years. Single-payer dos not work well there.

Especially for old people.

But at the urging of the Daily Mail, its readers have raised £100,000 ($155,000) to fund a helpline to report abuse and negligent NHS care.

Thousands become severely malnourished while under NHS care as they are too frail to feed themselves, and nurses are too busy to help them.

Meal trays are being dumped in front of them, and then taken away hours later with the food cold and untouched.

But in many cases patients and relatives are too scared to speak up and complain, in case the hospital deems them to be troublemakers. Many complaints are simply ignored by hospital staff.
