Cary, Illinois' recovery summer Obama stimulus "campaign sign"

How is your "recovery summer" going? The White House has been touting this season as recovery summer, but last week's unemployment claims were the highest since February. Beacause of President Obama's wondrous stimulus, the national unemployment rate was to have peaked last year at eight percent and by now it was to have declined to seven percent.It's currently stuck at 9.5 percent.

Yet the Obama stimulus campaign signs keep popping up, declaring that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is "Putting America to Work." Cary, Illinois, in McHenry County has one, on Northwest Highway. In Illinois, Obama's home state, the unemployment rate is 10.6 percent.

In related news, John Merline of AOL News has collected quotes from various quotes from the Obama team, most of them are as ridicoulous as this one, from the Cult of Change leader himself: "We are beginning to see glimmers of hope." Obama said that on April 14, 2009.
