Obama's stimulus campaign sign on U.S. 2 in Michigan

The terminus of the western portion of U.S Route 2 is at Interstate 75, Michigan, near the Straits of Mackinac on the Upper Peninsula.

And even on the northern edge of the nation, there are Barack Obama economic stimulus 2012 reelection campaign signs.

This one, located in St. Ignace, is a political two-fer. Not only does it promote the president's policies--with the Recovery.gov logo, which is similar to the Obama "O" campaign symbol, it throws in a plug for Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm--a fellow Democrat.
