Raven in the Grand Canyon in winter

When I was at the Grand Canyon last month, I saw many ravens in the parking lots and other areas of the park with a heavy human presence. They are omnivorous--and that includes people food. This particular species is the Chihuahuan Raven, its range is the Southwest and northern Mexico.

This bird was photographed at Yaki Point on the South Rim of the canyon.
