Video: Two elk in the snow at the Grand Canyon visitors center

What luck! As soon as we parked our car at the South Rim visitors center at Grand Canyon National Park, we encountered to elk bucks foraging.

Inside the center, a ranger passed on some sad news about the elk, "They have broken antlers, they're the losers in mating fights."

In the video, a passerby says about the elk, "Sadly, that's the best thing you're going to see that day." Fog obscured views of the canyon that day, but we had just arrived and wouldn't be leaving for two days.

The views were much better during the following days. Although, the picture in the top related post was taken just a few minutes after my warning about the vistas.
