Plenty of candidates go on bus tours of the districts they want to represent. But Dr. Dan Benishek drives his bus. A favorite of the tea party movement, Benishek is the Republican candidate in Michigan's 1st Congressional District, you know, the Bart Stupak district.
This video brought back many pleasant memories of my Upper Peninsula Upventure tour of last summer.
Watch, enjoy, and take in Benishek's fabulous "Yooper" accent. You betcha you'll like it.
Benishek discusses the mining heritage of northern Michigan and mentions that most of the iron used to fight World War II came from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Oh, there are miners eating pasties in the video, too.
