Conservative radio talk show host Guy Benson was another of the Saturday general session speakers at RightOnline 2012 earlier this month at the Venetian Casino and Resort in Las Vegas.
He spoke humorously about his recent appearance on MSNBC's "The Ed Show" and the victory of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker in his recall election.
Why did the GOPer win in the Badger State? Benson offered two reasons.
"Scott Walker's conservative, limited-government reforms worked," Benson said. "The state added tens of thousands of jobs, closed a multi-billion annual deficit without raising taxes, property taxes are falling in Wisconsin for the first time in twelve years, and liberated from restrictive and pernicious collective bargaining rackets, local communities have been able to realize huge savings while avoiding layoffs or painful cuts in the classroom," he added.
Then Benson spoke directly to the RightOnline activists for the second reason the Republican reformer won.
"The left was out-hustled, out-organized, out-fundraised, out-passioned, and out-argued by you," he concluded.
