ABA loves Big Labor, but not rule of law

Last week the American Bar Association (ABA) honored Lafe Solomon, the actng counsel for the radicalized-National Labor Relations Board, its Federal Labor and Employment Attorney of the Year.

It's a bizarre choice, since Solomon, who was placed in his position by utilization of a recess appointment, has shown a disregard for the process of lawmaking and following the law.

From the Washington Examiner:
However one views the ABA's choice to honor Solomon, it is more evidence of the establishment legal community's contempt for the constitutional rule of law.

Government agency general counsels tend to have tunnel vision in favor of expanding the power of their respective agencies at the expense of constitutional limitations generally, and the Bill of Rights specifically.

While elected officials accountable to voters frequently show contempt for the Constitution as the law that governs them, government agencies insulated from accountability to voters often act as though they had never heard of the Constitution.

It is as rare as fairy dust for government agency general counsels to advise that an intended agency action exceeds constitutional restrictions and violates liberty.
