Yesterday House Chief Deputy Whip Peter Roskam (R-IL) appeared on Larry Kudlow's CNBC show. Joining him was Rep. Peter Welch (D-VT).
Roskam told the host,"...the president created an urgency in his speech saying 'pass this now,' but it's important to recognize that the White House can change the dynamic on regulations immediately."
The DuPage County Republican agrees with the president that the pending free trade agreements with Colombia, South Korea, and Panama should be enacted. But I have to ask: When is Obama going to send them to Congress? The ball is in his court--as it has been for 32 months.
