Yesterday their was a march and rally by union members in downtown Chicago--to show solidarity with the public-sector union workers who are seeing their lavish benefits and self-serving work rules rolled back in states such as Wisconsin.
"I'd like to thank the temporary governor of Wisconsin," Lucy said, "because he brought to the attention of this nation the meanness and the special brand of evil being visited on working people by this new brand of Republican leadership."
Evil? Would Dr. King say something like that about Republicans?
Am I evil because I support Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker?
AFSCME, a public-sector union, is a generound contributor to the campaigns of Democratic politicians.
