ILL-inois has 313 fewer residents each day

The Illinois Policy Institute, a free-market think-tank, has spun--in a good way--the news that ILL-inois continues to lose population. Once births, deaths, move-ins, and move-outs are all tabulated, the Land of Mary Todd Lincoln Spending loses 313 residents each day.

Since 2014, when Illinois began its five-years-and-counting people drain, Illinois has lost over 150,000 residents. Worse, those who are leaving are relatively young and highly skilled.

Why stay around until the pension bomb finally detonates?

Do you want more bad news? Last year Illinois increased its income tax and the governor-elect, JB Pritzker, a Madigan/Democrat, favors instituting a progressive income tax.
