SCSen: Idiot alert, Alvin Greene

Alvin Greene, who was indicted this summer on a felony pornography charge, is the Democratic nominee for the US Senate in South Carolina.

He faces popular Republican incumbent Jim DeMint in the general election. MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell interviewed Greene, who lives with his parents, and tossed him a softball question about how he got the nickname of "Turtle." Greene's response? "Jim DeMint started the recession."
