EADS submits its KC-X bid

It's a busy news day for news regarding the KC-X, the proposed Air Force mid-air refueling jet. Yesterday EADS, the parent of Airbus, submitted its bid for that $50 billion project. Last week the World Trade Organization formally condemned European subsidies to EADS.

Sometime today Chicago-based Boeing will submit its bid, which will be based upon its 767 jet and will be militarized in Kansas.

As you will read in the related posts, illegal subsidies are not the only problem with EADS and its bid KC-X bid.
