CT Dem Senate candidate caught lying about Vietnam service

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal seemed destined to replace Chris Dodd in the US Senate until the New York Times discovered that Blumenthal lied about serving in Vietnam.

Democrats in the Nutmeg State have until Friday to find a replacement for Blumenthal, should he be forced to end his candidacy.

Not only is Blumenthal's credibility shot, reporters and bloggers will take a close look at his biography, hoping to uncover other biographical falsehoods.

The most Rasmussen Reports poll showed Blumenthal with a comfortable lead over prospective Republican rivals.

Blumenthal's lie insults every man and who who served this nation.
