7 shot and at least 41 wounded during Labor Day weekend in Chicago

The last weekend of summer of course brought more violence to Chicago. Seven people were killed at least 41 others were wounded during the Labor Day weekend.

There were two mass shootings--both on the South Side. Four men are expected to recover after being shot near an Green Line station at Martin Luther King Drive. In Englewood, two men were killed and three other people were wounded.

One the West Side, a 15-year-old who dreamed of playing for the Chicago White Sox was shot to death. He was supposed to begin high school today--now his family is planning his funeral.
