(Photo) Standees only at snowed over Skokie bus stop

As with Pompeii after the archaeological dig, the February thaw is uncovering many surprises in the Chicago area, such as this CTA bus stop at Niles Center Road and Main Street in Skokie, which I photographed yesterday afternoon.

Does no one wait for the Skokie Line bus there? Or have Illinoisans just accepted substandard government service as the norm? Perhaps in March someone can sit at the emerging bench and stand up without a wet and cold butt.
