(Photo) Kuldīga, Latvia's Alekšupīte River

Two days before it defeated the United States in Olympic Men's Hockey, Canada struggled with tiny Latvia. The Latvians took the Canadians into the third period with a 1-1 tie, but the Great White North prevailed 2-1.

So in honor of Mrs. Marathon Pundit's native land, here is another of her photos from her trip in 2011. Pictured is the Alekšupīte River in Kuldīga. And as you can see, it really is in Kuldīga.
