Eight years of malaise? Unemployment rate rises to 7.9 percent

The day after President Obama eliminated his jobs council, his Labor Department announced that the nationwide unemployment rate rose to 7.9 percent. In December it was 7.8 percent.

This news comes on top of  Wednesday's report that our GDP shrank by 0.1 percent.

Folks, we're in trouble. Again.

We're only half way through eight years of Jimmy Carter-style malaise.

Not my first choice, but it may take a real US crash to break the Left's hold on education and the MSM, and to shake some common sense into the typical low information voter.
