RCP poll average: Only 9 solid Obama states left

The Obama-Biden braintrust must be having a collective aneurysm today. According to the Real Clear Politics polling average, there are only seven states--along with the District of Columbia--that are either solid or leaning to Obama. Luckily for the Cult of Change, three of them are populous states--California, New York, and Illinois. As for my state, a Chicago Tribune/WGN-TV poll released yesterday gives Obama a solid lead in his home state. However, the poll queried registered--not likely--voters. Even in Illinois enthusiasm is down for Obama, as is the number of registered voters in Chicago and suburban Cook County. These are Democratic strongholds.

Captain Obama must feel that his ship is taking on more leaks than his crew can keep up with.
