More Illinois corruption: Seven busted in bribery scheme

The fetid Illinois swamp coughed up seven people today. Federal authorities indicted a onetime campaign treasurer of former state Sen. Rickey "Hollywood" Hendon (D-Chicago), two Cook County correctional officers, and four others. According to the indictment, the seven were led to believe that they would receive $25,000 in Department of Health and Human Services grants in exchange for bribes of $5,000.

Illinois is rotten to the core.
