Blogging from Charlotte, North Carolina.
I was the only Chicago White Sox at a FreedomWorks' BlogCon party when ESPN broke the news that journeyman righty Philip Humber threw a perfect game.
It was the third 'perfecto' thrown by a South Sider pitcher, only the New York Yankees can boast as many.
Mark Buerhle threw one in 2009--I was out of town then as well. In 1922, when many believe the first time the term perfect game was used, Charley Robertson performed the same rare feat.
