Study: Illinois and New Jersey tied for most outbound migrations

AP is reporting that a study of moving patterns by United Van Lines shows that Illinois and New Jersey are tops in outbound migrations. There's a difference between the two states: New Jersey's governor, Republican Chris Christie, is reversing the rot. Governor Pat Quinn, Rod Blagojevich's two-time running mate, socked Illinois taxpayers with massive "temporary" income tax increases 11 months ago. Quinn sold the tax increase as a way to pay off old bills--Illinois is still way behind in meeting its obligations.

Look for Illinois to pull ahead of the Garden State in 2012.
