SOBs? Where? |
While warming up the crowd, Real Clear Politics reports that Teamster president James Hoffa had this to say:
"We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war, they got a war with us and there's only going to be one winner. It's going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We're going to win that war," Jimmy Hoffa Jr. said to a heavily union crowd.Civility, anyone?
"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong," Hoffa added.
Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), led a chant of "Jobs now." Undoubtedly lost to Conyers is that Obama's regulation-happy and union placating policies are killing jobs. Yesterday the Reverend Jesse Jackson told the Detroit News that the onetime Motor City "is the epicenter of the urban crisis. It is in a state of perpetual emergency." Liberal politics and of course unions put Detroit in the ER.
As for Obama, he touted what is essentially "Stimulus II" to the heavily union audience.
Which brings me to this quote: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Albert Einstein
