Gasoline back over $4 in Chicago's northern suburbs; latest siphoning reports

I just got back from a late evening run, where I encountered a Morton Grove Marathon station selling regular for $4.09-a-gallon.

Criminals siphoning fuel is a symptom of high gas prices. On Thursday, a California man was arrested for stealing gas from U-Haul trucks. Utah's Park Record is reporting that gas thefts are on the rise. And after a three month investigation, nine Florida teens were arrested for stealing diesel fuel from trucks and construction vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration remains opposed to new domestic oil drilling.
