While it's difficult to ascertain what voters will want two years from now, I believe someone with executive experience--which was something not on Barack Obama's thin résumé--will be viewed quite favorably by the electorate. Which of course means someone who has served as a governor. Which brings us to Tim Pawlenty.
The Minnesota governor spoke at the Stafford County GOP picnic in Dover, New Hampshire yesterday. It's his third trip to the Granite State in the last seven months.
This sounds like someone with executive experience:
"We now having people running the United States of America who have no regard for financial limits, no regard for financial discipline," said Pawlenty. "We need to bring this country back into financial responsibility and financial balance. We have to live within our means."

After watching the vote counting for the last US Senate election in Minnesota, I don't see how one could bring themselves to promoting the governor to national office.
The Fox news story today says that felons put Sen Franken in office.
The reason that felons were able to vote illegally apparently was because the proper flag was not placed on the records. The damage that was done by this voter fraud will never be undone. Shouldn't someone be responsible? Shouldn't that someone be the Chief Excutive?
If he can't control voter fraud at the state level, why elevate him to a higher level?
The secretary of state is in charge of Minnesota elections.
