BP supports Democrats' cap and trade tax bill

Although the Democrats aren't calling the Kerry-Lieberman legislation a cap and tax bill--because it has become a pejorative. Why, because if "cap and tax" becomes law, every time you flick on a light switch, you'll pay an energy tax. BP and other energy giants support cap and trade, because the Democrats have created all kinds of sweetheart deals for them.
