The inimitable Doug Ross pored over the May 14 edition of the International Monetary Fund's Fiscal Monitor and discovered that even government economists (but not Timothy Geithner, I guess) have figured out that now is not the time for the United States to take on more debt. Revenue is down and loans are supposed to be paid back.
Maybe. We'll see if Greece defaults.
