Politico: Andy Stern to quit SEIU presidency

Andy Stern, the president of the Service Employees International Union, will resign today, Politico is reporting.

Stern was the most frequent White House visitor in 2009. He boasted last year that his union, whose membership is dominated by public-sector employees, spent $60.7 million to elect Barack Obama president.
