The Tea Party Express continues along the route of the old Erie Canal on Tuesday with a 10:00am EDT rally in Albany, New York at the State Capitol. There's a lot of shame in Albany, its current governor, the ethically-challenged David Paterson, succeeded Eliot Spitzer, client number nine at an expensive escort service.
Then it is on to Concord, New Hampshire for a 4:00pm nesting at Eagle Square, just a few blocks from the Granite State's Capitol building.
There will be just one rally on Wednesday, a Boston event starring Sarah Palin. And the freedom caravan will roll into Washington on Thursday for an April 15 tax day of reckoning. Early that day the TPX will hold a press conference announcing its 2010 election targets. One of the group's previous targets was Rep. Bart Stupak, who announced his retirement while the Tea Party Express buses were in his northern Michigan district.
If you can't make the fun, watch on TPX TV.
"Erie Canal Monday" for the Express began in Buffalo this morning, as Andrea Shea King reports, and ended in Syracuse, where Lonely Conservative watched and took photos.
