It looks like the first shoe will drop in the Rod Blagojevich impeachment process.
The Illinois House impeachment committee recommends that the full House vote to impeach Blago--that vote could come tomorrow.
The state Senate will get the case next. They will be the jury for Blagojevich, the Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court will be the judge.
Although the Senate has been kinder to Blago over the years than the House, the governor will soon be out of office. His two closest state Senate allies were outgoing Senate President Emil Jones, Jr. and Senate Majority Leader Debbie Halvorson, who was sworn into Congress on Tuesday.
