The media is spinning the breaking news about the US Supreme Court's 5-4 ruling upholding a federal government ban on partial birth abortion as a test of President Bush's new Supreme Court, but my guess is, that even if former Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and the late Chief Justice William Rehnquist were still on the court, it still would've been a 5-4 vote--against partial birth abortions.
Chicago area blogger Jill Stanek is an expert on this issue--she should have something up on her site very soon.
This morning's news will be a shocker to the pro-abortion crowd: They're used to winning at the Supreme Court.
