Well, I guess I'm entitled to verbal shot like that--on the other hand, there are differences between me and Barack Obama. For instance, he is running for president, I'm not.
And Obama's presidential run is a little bit different than those of the other candidates. This comes from the Chicago "free registration required" Tribune article the blew the whistle on the Obamas and their charitable donations:
Giving, service and compassion are recurrent themes on the campaign trail for Sen. Barack Obama, but the Democratic presidential contender has only recently dug deep into his own pockets to support charitable causes.
Obama, unlike myself, is a member of a church that recommends its parishioners donate 10 percent of their earnings to charity.
I usually don't repost something from my own blog, but this one is too good to pass up:
Another hit against Obama. Then again, he's a typical liberal--he expects the government to take care of all the nation's problems.
For those who are wondering: My wife and I ship--at our own expense--quite a bit of old clothing, toys, baby items and the like to her native country of Latvia.
