Obama Winter: Unemployment rises to 9.6 percent

"Recovery Summer" is the world's biggest flop since 1973's Comet Kahoutek. Actually, we've been enduring Obama Winter.

The August unemployment figures are out--and the nationwide jobless rate is up one-tenth of a percentage point to 9.6 percent.

The White House will of course lamely spin this to appear to be good news, but according to Christian Romer, the outgoing chief economist for the Obama administration, because of the fabulous stimulus, the unemployment rate was supposed be just seven percent now--after peaking at eight.

I've had my fill of mad scientist fantasy baseball from the Obama-bots.

Meanwhile, the Heritage Foundation provides a humorous exclamation point to the so-called Recovery Summer. Hat tip to The Other McCain.
