EFCA contains a "card check" provision, which will replace workplace secret ballot elections for determining union membership with free-to-peek petition drives.
With the Democratic majority in Congress in jeopardy, there is a real possibility that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid will ram EFCA through Congress and onto the president's desk in a lame duck session.
