(CNN video) Van Jones calls Hillary email scandal "a self-inflicted wound," Dems shouldn't defend her

(Video) Libertarian candidate steps in a big pile of Aleppo
Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson was asked today on MSNBC's Morning Joe, "What would you do about Aleppo?"
Johnson replied, "What is Aleppo?"
"You're kidding?" was Barnicle's response. When Johnson made it clear that he really didn't know what Alepppo was, "Barnicle countered, "Aleppo is in Syria, it is the epicenter of the refugee crisis."
That loud vacuum cleaner sound you just heard was the end of Johnson's hope to garner enough poll support to qualify for the presidential debates.
Later this morning I watched the Libertarian nominee on The View--I was in the waiting room at my mother's doctor's office, otherwise I wouldn't force myself to suffer--Johnson tried to explain his way out of his self-induced disaster. It didn't work.
Not only is Aleppo Syria's largest city, but it is also the hometown of longtime Barack Obama and Rod Blagojevich crony Tony Rezko, an ex-con.

On this day in 1966: Star Trek debuts
When Star Trek first aired on this date in 1966, few people noticed or cared. A few more did care when it was cancelled after three season. It was seemingly over for Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock, but like the Beatles after their break-up--yes, the Fabs were a worldwide phenomenon during their career--the science fiction show entered legendary status after NBC set its phasers on kill on it.

71-year-old Chiraq man shot during robbery attempt while watering lawn
Said no one ever: "Be careful watering the lawn dear, you might get shot."
But that will change today, at least in Chiraq.
From Fox Chicago:
Will the victim be packing heat the next time he waters his lawn?
The brutes are still at large.
But that will change today, at least in Chiraq.
From Fox Chicago:
A man was shot during an attempted robbery Tuesday in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. That's the way it is in Chiraq now. Creeps can prowl the streets and shoot septuagenarians who are only capable of threatening crab grass. Laguardia was also roughed up by the thugs. He's being hospitalized and is in fair condition.
About 12:10 p.m., 71-year-old Fred Laguardia was watering his lawn in the 7100 block of South California when he was approached by two males on bikes, Chicago Police said.
They demanded his wallet, and when the man refused, one of the males shot him, police said. He was struck in the abdomen. The two males then fled north on California.
