Chicago Tribune will soon be printed in the suburbs

After over 170 years of being printed in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune will now be printed in suburban Chicago, in Schaumburg. Illinois' most-read newspaper--with declining readership, by the way--is part of the Chicago exodus.

The story link is behind a paywall.

The Trib has been printed at the Freedom Center on the North Side of the city, but that property has been sold to make way for a Bally Casino.

Chicago's Tribune Tower, once home of the Tribune, was sold in 2016, it's now a mixed-used property.
