Statues offensive to Native Americans in crosshairs

When Tucker Carlson asked Paul Pitino, a member of the Arcata, California city council, why he favors tearing down the statue of William McKinley in his town, he seemingly said little but in fact he said a lot.

"It's the only one we got."

Translated, McKinley is a dead white guy. Oh, Pitino can't even speak English correctly, he should have said, "It's the only one we have." Arcata, you can do better.

Why McKinley?

Because of McKinley pursued a policy unfavorable to Native Americans. As did, nearly all American presidents. Is Lincoln next, Carlson wonders?

Unlike most of far-northern California, Arcata is dominated by leftists.
