(Video) Wallace catches Schumer lying on Trump tax plan

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) made a rare appearance on Fox News Sunday. Big shot Democrats don't usually appear on Fox News becauses reporters on the network, such as Chris Wallace, confront them with the truth. Say what you will about disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY), but he never backed away from a fight on Fox.

Watch as Schumer gets a fact handed to him. After Schumer, when discussing the Trump tax plan, makes the false claim that the president's proposal eliminates the mortgage interest deduction, Wallace corrects him.

Trump's plan does ditch the state income tax deduction, which is a backhanded federal subsidy to spendthrift blue states such as Schumer's New York and Barack Obama's Illinois.

Perhaps the misguided people in those states who vote Democratic might think again about it.
