Chicago father and son shoot each other over dog walking argument

To be fair statistics show that pet-owners live longer than those who don't keep pets.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:
A 22-year-old man was shot to death in an argument with his father over who was going to walk the dog Sunday morning in the Far South Side Burnside neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.

The two men, ages 43 and 22, were in a verbal altercation about 8:20 a.m. in the 9100 block of South Woodlawn when they shot each other, according to Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi and the CPD's Office of News Affairs.
The son was declared dead at a suburban hospital while dad is in critical condition and being treated at the same facility. Both men suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Shot his son, the other shot his father.
How can this be? 21 years of life's struggles together
21 years of laughing and crying together each supporting the other.
How can thus be? The he dog is normally neutral ground as most folks love their pets.
God help us, we have lost all compassion and love
