Friday: Reagan birthday events in Illinois

Friday February 6 is the 104th anniversary of the only president born in Illinois--Ronald Reagan. There will be several events that day in Reagan Country, including the annual birthday party at his birthplace in Tampico, which is about 45 miles east of the Quad Cities.

Americans for Prosperity will be hosting three birthday events in honor of "Dutch." A breakfast in Dixon--Reagan's boyhood home--a second breakfast in Carol Stream, and a bite of birthday cake in O'Fallon. The celebrations are free. The guest at each celebration will be Peggy Grande, who was Reagan's personal assistant after he left the White House.
