Send in the clowns: Unicyclist traveling sort-of across Canada on global warming mission

Lake Superior iceberg, June 2014
Circuses and college campuses are gathering spots for flakes. And those are the only places where I see unicyclists. But there is one traveling from British Columbia to Ottawa, the capital of Canada, to draw attention to climate change and particularly our northern neighbor's apparent disinterest in it. Joseph Boutilier's wheel is currently on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, which, unless President Obama lost control of the northern border too, is in the United States.

The U.P. this year endured a winter that was brutal even on its tough standards. Just where is that global warming?

As for Boutieler--everyone needs a hobby, and he found his.
