Happy Canada Day Now let's build the Keystone pipeline
Today is Canada Day, our friendly neighbor's national holiday. And I have an idea for a gift from the United States for Canada. President Obama, after years of dithering, can finally approve the much-needed Keystone XL pipeline which will bring much needed petroleum from Alberta here--and lessen our dependence on oil from hostile regimes such as Venezuela and the nascent Iraqi caliphate.
Regular gasoline is selling for about $4-per-gallon where I live, double the cost of what is was when Obama was sworn into office.
